How can I learn to use geoSCOUT?

To make the most of your invesment, we recommend that new clients take a half-day Introduction course to get an overview of geoSCOUT. Once they have attended the Introduction course they can continue with the Advanced courses that are available, depending on their discipline.  Some of the Advanced Training courses that we offer are Engineering and Production, Geology and User Database, and Cross Section.

In addition to Training we also have other resources available. You will find Technical Notes, Tips and Tricks and Online Help available in our Client Site. Each module in geoSCOUT has a help guide to step you through tasks.

Customer support is available for telephone and onsite support when required.

How often will I see upgrades to geoSCOUT?

geoLOGIC is committed to providing three major geoSCOUT program updates per year. Client feedback is important to us and drives many of the enhancements that you will see in the software.

We make it easy for geoSCOUT users to stay current. Here’s how:

  • Attend our regularly scheduled geoSCOUT user presentations (contact support@geologic.com to be added to the invitation list)
  • Arrange for a geoSCOUT presentation in your offices (contact your account manager at sales@geologic.com)

What is geoSCOUT’s history?

geoSCOUT was designed by a successful working Geologist.  Initially called “geoMATE”, it was the first software designed specifically to store and manage interpretive geological data.

What do I need to run it?
