Easy management of well log datasets
geoSCOUT™ makes it easy for you to access, manage and use datasets associated with Well Logs, such as Raster Log Images and Digital Log (LAS) Curves.
With geoSCOUT, you can:
- access raster or LAS images of logs from our database, yours, or both
- use them to prepare cross sections
- examine down-hole views of one or two wells
- post log sections onto maps.
You can also set up geoSCOUT to automatically load raster log images into cross sections, as they are built. These raster logs are gathered from servers in our Data Centre, your Local Area Network or from a third-party data provider’s data centre(s).
geoSCOUT users manage and access digitized (LAS) log files with the LAS Data Manager. This tool creates an internal database to collect, quality assure, correct, catalog and then access these files.
Once the database is created, geoSCOUT can automatically load LAS curves into cross sections as they are built. You can also search for wells that have LAS data available – all from within geoSCOUT.
