Geologic appoints Sarah Ruickbie as Vice President, Sales & Business Development

Geologic announced today the appointment of Sarah Ruickbie as Vice President, Sales & Business Development.

Ruickbie will lead customer acquisition, revenue growth, and commercial strategy across upstream oil and gas, midstream, and energy-adjacent markets. She will play a key role in advancing Geologic’s go-to-market approach and expanding the company’s reach across its core and emerging customer segments.

Ruickbie brings extensive experience leading enterprise sales in complex technical environments across the energy and software sectors. Prior to joining Geologic, she was a senior commercial leader at a leading Canadian risk modeling, software, and data company, where she led go-to-market transformation initiatives and accelerated client adoption of advanced analytics solutions.

Earlier in her career, Ruickbie held progressively senior roles within organizations providing testing, inspection, certification and energy infrastructure services. In these roles, she managed major corporate accounts, developed sales and commercial processes, and built long-term strategic partnerships with leading producers.

Ruickbie holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from Western University and a Master’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Calgary.
